The Lyme Research Network (LymeNet)
DNA HIVE is building a Lyme Research Network (LymeNet), a federated data and analysis ecosystem that enables regulatory and scientific data-driven research for Lyme infection-associated chronic conditions. This initiative is funded by the FDA Office of Medical Countermeasures and Preparedness and the office of the HHS Chief Data Officer as part of the LymeX Innovation Accelerator. In collaboration with clinical systems that are currently part of the FEAST network and community clinical networks across the United States, DNA HIVE will deploy the infrastructure and conduct Lyme disease pilot studies. Research will focus on characterization of chronic Lyme conditions and the discovery of genetic or clinical drivers resulting in chronic fatigue syndrome in a large sub-population of patients. This has been a high-priority initiative supported by the Office of the Secretary of HHS. For more information, follow the link to the Lyme Disease Roundtable
