This contract from NEST coordinating center for the “Development of a Patient-facing Mobile App for evaluation of technologies used in Stress Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse” led to the development of patient-facing mobile app with a specific use-case within the newly created stress incontinence registry. The HIVE based implementation will serve as infrastructure within Women’s health coordinated registry network and partner registries. The app takes advantage of HIVE-EDC, facilitates integration of patient reported outcome (PRO) data from patients and integrates within multiple data sources for building robust real-word data infrastructure. We developed and tested the features and usability of the mobile facing application, by engaging implant surgeons and their patients from Weill Cornell Medicine. After initial usability testing prospective data collection is initiated.
